Love Fiction is a romantic comedy that revolves around the life of a struggling young writer, Joo-Wol, who is experiencing a severe case of writer’s block. His publisher is pressuring him to come up with a new novel, but Joo-Wol is unable to find inspiration. Meanwhile, he is also dealing with the aftermath of a recent breakup with his girlfriend, Eun-Soo. Feeling lost and uninspired, Joo-Wol decides to take a break and goes on a trip to a remote countryside cottage. It is there that he meets Hee-Jin, a charming and free-spirited woman who is staying in the neighboring cottage. Despite their initial disagreements and clashes, Joo-Wol and Hee-Jin develop a unique bond and begin to open up to each other. As they spend more time together, Joo-Wol finds himself drawn to Hee-Jin’s carefree and spontaneous nature, and she in turn becomes intrigued by his intellectual and sensitive personality. Their interactions spark a series of unexpected and humorous events that gradually push Joo-Wol out of his creative rut. Inspired by his experiences with Hee-Jin, Joo-Wol finally finds the inspiration he needs to write his next novel. However, just as he begins to make progress with his writing, Eun-Soo re-enters his life, prompting Joo-Wol to confront his unresolved feelings for her. As Joo-Wol navigates his complicated emotions and tries to make sense of his relationships with both Eun-Soo and Hee-Jin, he realizes that he must make a choice between holding onto the past or embracing the possibility of a new love. Love Fiction explores the complexities of human emotions, the unpredictability of love, and the struggle to find one’s true self amidst the chaos of life.
