Alex, a copy editor from New York, is sent to an extreme sports magazine in Colorado to write a story about the famous Winterfest. Despite being completely out of her element, she is determined to prove herself as a serious journalist. During her time in Colorado, Alex meets Cole, an adventurous snowboarder who offers to show her the ropes. As they spend more time together, Alex begins to embrace the thrill of the slopes and discovers a passion for snowboarding. Along the way, she also uncovers a potential scandal surrounding the Winterfest that could jeopardize the future of the event. With Cole's help, Alex investigates the matter and works to uncover the truth. As they navigate the exhilarating world of extreme sports and pursue the truth, Alex and Cole develop a deep connection and realize that they have found love on the slopes.
